- Um, the standard 16550s only support 115k async, while ISDN is capable
- of 128k synch. 128k synch is 16kbyte/sec (8 bits/byte) while 115k
- asynch is only 11.5kbyte/sec (10 bits/byte). There are 16550 cards
- with doubled clocks as some folks have indicated...

- I had 16550s on my old 386/dx20 back in 1987, but thats cuz I stuck a
- pair of INS16650AF uarts into a old everex SIO card (which had come
- with the earlier 16450's).
